So I thought I was going to be the perpetrator of a huge faux pas – I had misplaced the tickets I was supposed to give away for the NAC Casual Friday’s March series! But, luckily, in just the nick of time, I found them!
So without further adieu, here is how you can win your way into the absolute best event going on in Ottawa on a Friday night! (This Friday night – the 7th!!)
So this new series features:
FORSYTH Double Concerto (Viola and Cello)
MENDELSSOHN Symphony No. 4, “Italian”
The sun-drenched landscapes of Italy inspired Mendelssohn’s sparkling “Italian” Symphony, which he himself called “blue sky in A major.” Plus, our own Amanda Forsyth and Jethro Marks perform a double concerto by legendary composer (and Amanda’s father) Malcolm Forsyth – who declared himself “dedicated to the idea of concert music that does sweep people away…”
And the Casual Fridays Experience means dress casually and enjoy a relaxed musical experience, including a pre-concert Culinary Overture and post-concert reception. (Yes these tickets include the Culinary Overture!)
A sneak peek at the food:
